Conditions for Labor Export to Japan
Age Requirements
Workers aged between 18 and 35 are preferred by many Japanese employers. Additionally, there are some one-year contract positions that accept candidates up to 40 years old and a few other special cases.
Education and Professional Qualifications
To be eligible for labor export to Japan, workers must have at least completed lower secondary education (for general labor positions).
Physical Appearance
- Male: Height above 155 cm, weight from 48-50 kg
- Female: Height from 148 cm, weight from 40-42 kg
In 2019, the physical requirements for workers were increased. Specifically:
- Male: Height above 160 cm, weight above 50 kg
- Female: Height 150 cm, weight 45 kg
Health Requirements
Any worker before arriving in Japan must ensure they meet health requirements and have a health certificate from Vietnamese health authorities confirming their eligibility to work abroad.
Additionally, to qualify for health conditions to go to Japan, you must be in good physical condition and not have any of the 13 prohibited disease categories listed below:
